I'm looking at the quality of the digital scans from my analog photos, and I'm rather nunpulsed... There are all sorts of marks. (Of course, the scanning quality is rather crappy and I'm going to speak to my local print shop about this... If I scan them individually as opposed to all the shots when I first get them processed, I think I should be able to get a nice quality scan...)
At the same time, I have a permanent copy (the negatives) of a higher grain quality than any digital record can afford... To be scanned (hopefully) at potentially great quality digital prints.
And that is the thing, right there. It's not that the photos as I look at them printed out on 3x5s are going to look any better than my digital prints, it's that I have a permanent record to be prepared at any quality, and that's the key.

Tonight the stars speak of Your Infinite Love. & It serves to remind me that what I have means nothing at all, compared to Your Glory, O Lord.
